The Technics for Preparation of Food Cataloque to Use in Food Consumption Surveys and Nutrition Education

Abstract

Photogı aphs of food have often been used in dietary surveys and nutrition education to help subjects to estimate poıtion sizes and/or to show the recommended portion size of foods .The use o f locally prepared photogıaphs has a lot of advantages. In Turkey untıll now, thıs method is not used in food consumption studies.We planned a study on taking photographs o f ali Turkish foods. In thıs paper only a small part o f the study was given.
