Abstract

This study was held on 480 families and th e ir children aged 4 - 6 years, lıvıng in different socio - economic conditions. The purpose of the study was to determine the nutritional status, hab its and attitudes and behaviourof families on chıld n u tritio n Accor dıng to the fındıngs, children vvere consuming milk, yoghurt, meat, egg and legumes ın ınsuffucient guantities. Among children 16.9 psrcent of malnutrition waş found, It was observed that nutrition education of families were ımportant for appropriate chıld feedmg practices.
