The Nutritional Habits of Workers Working İn Furniture Constructions

Abstract

Nutritional habits of 1244 workers are investigated. Approximately half o f the workers have their meals sitting on the floor and eat from the same dishes. Results o f survey indicate that 52.7 % o f the workers leave some of their foods in the dishes, 93.4 % of them consume three meals a day. Among the workers who eat two meals a day 66.6 % of them don t have breakfast. Tea and coffee are the most commonly consumed beverages during breaks. 42.2 % of the workers smoke and 3-4 % of them take alcohol.
